Day Workshops:
Sustainable Wellbeing or Change Masters
Overview: 4 hours of workshop content 10:00 to 15:00/15:30 (including breaks). Delivered at The Hive and in Epping Forest, by our qualified Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner.
Lighter touch than the therapeutic programme but covering some of the techniques and experiences. Extensive use is made of the natural world: as a setting; a resource for activities; for inspiration, metaphors, and life lessons. Discuss your specific goals and we will tailor the programme for your team.

Sustainable Wellbeing – strategies and techniques for holistic health
Example content and outcomes:
- Guided meditation in Epping Forest drawing on seasonal lessons from nature.
- Explore breathwork techniques.
- Understand and use somatic exercises to release stress from the body.
- Simple stretch routines to release muscle tension.
- Understand and use sensory activities for self-regulation.
- Reflective exercise around current and desired life balance.
- Learn from nature and apply metaphors to personal lives.
- Create a personalised sustainable wellbeing plan.
Change Masters – inner resilience to change and uncertainty
Example content and outcomes:
- Guided meditation in Epping Forest drawing on relevant lessons from nature.
- Explore, process and work with feelings around change and uncertainty (in a private way).
- Learn from how nature responds dynamically, builds strong networks, repairs and sustains communities.
- Explore a new role, and recognising personal circles of control and influence, in a highly immersive way.
- Practice a range of self-regulation strategies, for challenging times.
- Optional team-building exercises (if cohort are from the same team).
Therapeutic Programmes:
Burnout Recovery or Change Masters
Overview: Targeted therapeutic programme of 8 sessions, lasting 2.5hrs each; delivered at the Hive and in Epping Forest, by our qualified Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner.
Participants will set individualised goals and the therapeutic practitioner will tailor the programme to support them. This allows much more profound personal development than our shorter workshops. Standardised and other measures will be used to provide evidence of effectiveness. (These can include your own measures, if appropriate.)

Group size: up to 8 participants
Burnout Recovery – supports restoring and sustaining long-term wellbeing
Example content and outcomes:
- Explore and practice a range of techniques for self-regulation, to build a personal ‘tool kit’.
- Learn from how nature creates sustainable recovery and growth, with memorable metaphors.
- Participate in immersive reflective exercises around personal work-life balance.
- Understand individual root causes and how to prevent future burnout.
- Gain from the proven wellbeing benefits of the natural environment (e.g. cortisol reduction, improved sleep, blood pressure regulation, improved immune function).
Resilience to Change –
Example content and outcomes:
- Explore and manage feelings around change and uncertainty.
- Explore personal circles of control to operate effectively.
- Learn from how nature manages change and use metaphors to give new perspectives to personal experiences.
- Develop a support network within the cohort (deep experiences build connection).
- Learn a range of wellbeing techniques for use in everyday life, to bolster resilience.
